Call to Order
Lorenzo Rotoli called the meeting to order at 10:15 AM

Reading and Approval of the Previous Minutes
A motion was made by Lorenzo and seconded by Tim to accept the minutes from the January 9, 2004 Executive Board Meeting
III.
Reports of Officers
President
Lorenzo Rotoli

Mary Rowlands (Director SMTC) will be chairing the Upstate Annual
Meeting
·
Will send Mary all electronic information
·
Had discussion with chairman of Pan Am conference.
They are not really concerned with financial support and wants to include
all organizations. ITE will not be
doing any technical sessions, but there was discussion about staffing a table.
·
Cindy McCormick and Don Adams leading charge on professional
development. Have joined PIE as a
section.
·
Working on doing local events in Upstate cities.
Gordon Stansbury would like someone else to take over local Syracuse
coordinator.
·
Lifetime Achievement Award to be given to Tom Werner.
Mike W. to take care of newsletter application form for annual awards.
·
Will try to find treasurer candidates from Rochester.
·
Frank Dolan to be teller for upcoming election.
·
Looking for someone to audit books.

· Has received all the awards info and will start pulling everything together after the shortly and send out nomination forms.
· Mike W. to provide his database to determine who to send out awards forms to.

· Doing summer riverboat cruise, but will be more social than technical.
· Doing a both for E3.

· Had a table at ACEC luncheon.

· Nothing to report. Looking for another candidate for local coordinator.
Albany
· Transportation Symposium and Pan Am conference

Tier
· Nothing to Report

The 2003 Annual Section meeting will be held on Oct. 7th
in Syracuse. Looking
into one day event with technical sessions.

Need to make sure that everyone has paid their dues and to include
new members in newsletter.

· Quarterly newsletter not working out to well because have not received any material to print.

· Will be contacting schools this summer notifying them of paper competition. Presented some ideas for paper competition.
